They provide a greater amount of physical durability and weight when compared to PVC fences, which makes them better suited for security fences. However, it should be noted that vinyl coated wood fences are still susceptible to warping over time, because a small break in the vinyl can allow water to get into the wood, which can also cause mold growth and rot to begin.

High Tensile Polymer Fences

Also known as HTP fences, high tensile polymer fences are most commonly used for horse pens and other livestock applications, but can be used for residential or commercial areas as well. HTP fences are made out of wires that are stretched tight and encased in a plastic covering. These types of fences are able to absorb the shock from physical trauma very easily, as the wires are somewhat flexible.
